Ambassadors for Peace gave testimonies and shared their reflections.

One remarkable testimony was from Amb. Mrs Hajia Aisha Usman. Hajia Aisha said she was made Ambassador for Peace in 2006. At that time she was just a nobody and that she didn’t even know how she got DSC_0927to become an Ambassador for Peace. But then she attended True Mother’s speech during her visit that year in Abuja. One thing she went away with from the speech was that as an Ambassador for Peace she was supposed to ‘live for the sake of others’ and that this was a cardinal teaching of Father Moon. DSC_0913She then thought to herself, since she didn’t feel qualified as an Ambassador for Peace, she could begin to live for the sake of others to earn the title. She then went back to her place and began seeking out orphans and with her own meagre resources began taking care of them. That was how she set up an orphanage. Since then, she said, God has been merciful unto to her. She would no longer describe herself as a nobody or as a person of meagre means. She is grateful to Father & Mother Moon for making her into somebody.

In a vote of thanks, UPF Secretary General Dr Raphael Oko thanked everyone for coming and invited them all for dinner.
