ffwpu father 2Participate in the Global Memorial Service

On August 30th, 2015, people from all over the world will commemorate the life and legacy of True Father, honoring the third anniversary of his ascension into the spirit world.

In the past few months, various events and initiatives have kicked off this international event, celebrating and building upon True Parents’ legacy. The Peace Road flag made its way around the world as hundreds of bikers, walkers, drivers and onlookers spread the vision of a peace highway that would connect the major continents—and it will cross the finish line in Korea next week. Participants of the memorial service also look forward to the Sunhak Peace Prize Award Ceremony, the performance by the Universal Peace Choir, the finished translation of the Holy Scriptures in English and the successful completion of the Top Gun Workshop for young leaders.

In this last week before the memorial celebration for True Father, there are still ways you can participate in this third and final global celebration:

 Share a Story

Many have contributed anecdotes and photos of True Parents in honor of this Seonghwa anniversary, and there’s still time to do so! Submissions to the Remember Contest are being accepted until Tuesday, August 25 at 11:59pm EST.

Share True Father’s Biography

True Father’s life story is incredible—and available online in the form of a biography and timeline that can be shared with friends and family. Share the life, legacy and vision of True Parents with the world.

Make Your Donation

The generous gifts that Unificationist families offer are what will help make the memorial week a success. There’s a suggested minimum of $130 per individual and $210 per family. This will be the last time to make such an offering for the international memorial, so don’t miss your chance to participate!

Attend the Memorial Celebration

For those unable to go to Korea to join the estimated 25,000 who will attend the Memorial Service, some local communities will be hosting live viewing sessions on the evening of Saturday August 29, 8:00pm EST. Others will dedicate their August 30 Sunday Services to viewing the Memorial Service. Stay tuned for a link to the live broadcast, which will be provided here on the Familyfed website next week.
