We hereby announce the passing of REV ALEX ASIKHIA, which occurred on the morning of Sunday 28 January 2018 in Abuja. He died of complications from high blood pressure, a condition he has suffered for several years.
Rev Alex has been serving as our witnessing and education director in the Abuja Headquarter Church. Despite his challenging health condition he always made himself available to teach the Divine Principle. And he loved teaching the Divine Principle. He was head of our mobilization team for the 100,000 youth rally.
He and his wife, Jose (from Congo DR), are the 1992 Blessing Group. They have four children. A National level Seonghwa Service will be held in his honor on Thursday 8 February 2018 from 5 pm. On Friday 9 February 2018, the body leaves Asokoro District Hospital, Asokoro, Abuja at about 6 am for the Wonjeon Ceremony at his hometown, Ukhuse-Oke, Iuleha in Owan West Local Government Area of Edo State.
